rear differental gears

im lookin 2 changing the rear differental gear is my 98 z28.its got a 3.08 in it now but im looking for a little more power..maybe something like a 3.73(richmond perhaps??).do u guys have any opinions of those or are they really worth it.i dont mind putting out some money but i aint trying 2 go crazy.also what are the best makes/gear ratios in ur opinion?? thanx 4 any help

You might want to look at this - its about 'vettes rather than Camaros but the conclusions apply to any car type.

I did it on my 79 Camaro and I LOVE IT. Despite the fact, I don't have over drive it sucks on the highway.

i like my 3.42's...a good in between from 3.08's to 3.73's...highway driving is very nice too
