I would go with this maf.. just read what they have on it and i think you might agree... the slp website should have directions for both the maf and the ls6 manifold and that should tell you the time required if not im sure you can guess

There is no need to upgrade the MAF untill you are over 400 RWHP, it won't get you any power, and might actually make you lose power, spend your money somplace else. Your install time should bearound 2hours, if you know your way around the engine, but take you time. You will need special tool to disconnect the fuel lines, Auto Zone should have them. Make sure you get the correct coolant crossover tube and plugs, these are different on the LS6 intake. Your stock injectors should be fine, I am at 393 rwhp on stockers, I am just at the point of maxing them out now.
so what intake do you suggest for a 2002 ls1? something port and polished? there is this intake i found that came off a vette 06 i think thats port and polished. tell me what i should be looking for, and what size tb should i get? or leave it stock as well?
leave the MAF alone. Leave the intake manifoldalone. Get a ported throttle body from thunderracing.com.Do you have a lid yet? If not get one. You should be fine with the intake side now. You said you have long tubes, now get the rest of the system. Get a nice catback system, anything but flowmaster b/c its restrictive. Get an off road y-pipe if you can get away with it with emissions checks. Now you're done with the exhaust side. Thats just about all the bolt ons besides a pulley. If thats not enough consider a nitrous system or a cam and possibly heads.
Ya, you want to do all the bolt on stuff before you go for internals, it'll pay off once you start getting into the internal stuff. If you have your heart set on getting a new intake manifold, you can always go for the FAST 90mm intake/throttle body setup, but it's not going to benefit you right now. You'd be better off with some new heads if you really want to go internal.
