My friend's 2000 Camaro drivers side window goes down fine. It will go up about half way and stop. Then, if he waits awhile he can get it to go up a little more. So now it's up and he's afraid to put it down. Any ideas on what the problem is?

LOL This is a typical problem. He needs a new window motor.

 

yea they guy i just bought my 95 from showed me the receipt for the new window motors. Its a common problem like JD said.

ya same with mine. GM put some crappy window motors in them because 3 of my friends did the same exact thing. funny thing is that if we reved the motor it would go upp faster!
