It seems like a lot of people have problems with their power windows going out. Well my passenger window died, and i was wondering how much new window motors cost and how hard they are to install yourself.

 

my driver side went out like 2 months ago and the chevy dealer charge's like $154.00 for the part but i found an acdelco authurized dealer and sold it to me for $100 but to install it is really a bit@# because its really hard to replace the motor because rivets are holding it in place and they have to pop those out and if your new motor doesnt come with new rivets the dealer will charge like $4 per rivet and i took it to the dealer to get it fix since its so complicated and the charged me $195.00 + tax damn dealer!!!!! the window motor does go out a lot on the camaro. GOOD LUCK.

 

Thanks for the info, seems like a big pain, maybe ill just drive with out rolling the window down for awhile.
