Poor Gas mileage?
I recently bought my second Camaro, my first was an 02 V6, now have an 02 SS. But this SS is not nearly getting the correct gas mileage it is supposed to. when i bought it it needed to have two O2 sensors replaced as well as the driver side CAT. My gas mileage before these repairs and after was approximately the same about 13MPG. and i know that the A4 will typically get worse mileage than the M6 trans. does anyone have any suggestions.

Are you talking about city driving, highway, or combined? Letting the car warm up longer in the cold weather, plus winter blend gas throws off gas mileage too. Also, do you wear a lead lined right shoe? An amount of gas mileage issues can be changed by altering driving habits.

Do you have a check engine light?
Is the engine running right at 200 degrees? If not... a stuck open thermostat will kill your gas mileage.
Are you running super?
Is the parking brake on?
are you dragging an anchor?
c'mon... 13mpg? really?...

quite litterally 13 on stock tune and about 15 with a hypertech programmer that i just bought and i drive about 2 miles to work and on weekends tend to take longer trips but average time to work is maybe 2-4 min if i catch a bad light. i do have a remotestart on the car and warm it up in winter cold but in response to some of the other questions... no anchor, parking brake is not on, no check engine light anymore, only premium gas (but around here all gas tends to have 10% ethanol), haven't changed the plugs yet, i was going to replace the fuel filter, and possibly the MAS. any other tips?

ok so plugs are a strong possibility given the cat issue, how about poor mas sensor sound could that possibly cause the car to think there is more air than there really is and hence dump more fuel in to the chamber, causing poor mileage.
