I have an ss as well...and trust me go with the slp flowpack the gain is deffinatly worth the 300 bucks....the ss stock induction isnt top of the line ...slp pretty much is

its only 140... and my ss lid is slp, im just not buying it

yeah but some people feel that he could gain the a little more using a different induction system to get air there cuz if you arent getting air to the intake in the first place you arent going to need a bigger intake than an 85

IF you don't want to spend the $, at least do the free mod to the plastic base for more air -- you WILL notice it on the highway... The CAI should be a little better choice though...

You'll be fine with the 85mm TB. The LS6 intake will flow well for what mods you have done to the car. Even if you decide to get a decent sized cam down the road you'll still be moving plenty of air. You guys have heard of all the "free mods" right? De-screening your MAF sensors, cutting the bottoms out of the lids,etc? All that stuff will help.
