Default Passing Smog

What's up people, so today I was talking to another owner of a Camaro and he was telling me it's hard for these cars to pass smog. I'm in California and it's pretty strict out here. I was wondering if you other Cali Camaro owners have the same problem or no problem at all. Thanks for your input!

you should have it scanned for trouble codes before getting it tested. as long as its got all the stock emission stuff, is running good and you dont have any codes it should pass.

I don't need to smog it for another year or so, but I posted in another section a code I am getting. The code is p0403 which is the catalytic converter. They said bank 2 passenger side but they also said it can be the driver side too which makes it more confusing. I read somewhere that the 02 senors should be replaced around 60,000 miles and I'm at 67,000.

start saving and get both cats and both 02 sensors. a bad 02 sensor can cause a cat to fail early by giving false lean readings.
