So After getting my Engine into the Camaro recently I also had the TH350 rebuilt, however I've noticed that it doesnt seem to want to go into passing gear when I step on it.

It just doesnt seem right.... Is there a seperate linkage for the kickdown / passing gear? it didnt do it with the old tranny either. Any info appericated.

 

Make sure the TV cable is the right one, and adjusted properly.

 

yeah, if the detent is not adjusted right it will (1) always kickdown when you do not want it to, or (2) not go into the passing gear
