seems like a good deal to me, maybe too good a deal. very cheap for the work done, alone the ls1 swap and rebuild of box would be that cost if done by a mechanic/garage

Yeah it does seem too good. I'm worried it'll be in the shop soon since it has the 7.5 LT1 rear end and LT1 brakes which are probably inadequate

well the rear is just same internally as the LS1 rears and rear brakes are only on like a 20% bias so only use the front brakes really, which MAY need an upgrade.

as your young as well you might wanna try to get learning some wrenching skills if you got any time off school, i kinda taught myself and my dad help. you can save a LOT of money if you know how to fix your own car

And, as an unlicensed 15 year old with a 2011 Huyndai Genesis as your "daily driver" who cares if the 4th gen needs a little work? The photo looks like it's in good shape and the engine itself is worth $2,000 in the market and the tranny about another $400.

You can't value labor when trying to sell used parts so I'd say buy it because it's almost worth it in parts alone, and then use the remaining $9500 on gettiing the interior pristine and if it needs a new paint job.

I don't have that much time after school cause I'm slammed with about 4 hours of homework a day and have debate 3 days a week. But I worked on my friend's dad's 77 corvette, have plenty of friends that are willing to help, and I have the use of full shops and crew from my aunt's dealerships

Who said I was unlicensed? That's true cause it's always better to buy finished cause you save on labor...if it was done right. How do you know what the interior looks like?

One thing you should consider is that cars with swaps done have little resale value. if you buy that car and want to sell it 5 years down the road, don't expect to get much for it.
