I just bought a 00 Z28 about a month ago. The dumbass before me put flowmasters on it and I dont want them. What I want to do is install an "electric cut out". Where can I find one and whats a good price? Also, I just put on the SLP cold air intake and I couldn't get the lid on unless I didn't install the plastic piece that holds the air filter. It looks like a tray but I didnt put it in, Is that gonna cause any damage? Lastly, Whats a good mod next? I was thinking short shifter or maybe suspension work. Let me know what you think.

 

Just get rid of the flowmasters go with magnaflow there better. For the cut out I've seen them on ebay for about $160 just make sure to get the 3" pipe and for the lid i don't have one personally I got mine from K&N but I'm pretty sure your going to have to put that piece on it may help.

 

that piece makes it impossible to close it. maybe I have to go back a redo something.
