I ran the LM1 both without and with a cam, and either was obnoxious. The rasp down low was annoying- but the exhaust was loud as hell. I haven't heard the LM2 in person so I can't give you a recommendation on that.

See that's what I don't get. I have the LM1 with the SLP offroad Y pipe and mine isn't obnoxious!

All you need now is a DMH electric valve instead of the plates...
Go with the Borla, its more expensive but you get what you pay for and the adjustable plate is nice to have for trips. i have it on my SS and always keep the plate wide open cuz i like it loud and it sounds nice im always getting comments from people at stoplights and such about how good it sounds.
