need gears and ls6 intake for this cam?
this cam is bigger, but not huge

I was wondering if I could get away with doing this one since I have the LT's, but without swapping gears or the ls1 intake manifold, or will the car fall flat on its face?
also, with lift hovering right around .6 should I pay for the double spring kit from tsp, or is the cheaper kit with single springs enough?

RE: need gears and ls6 intake for this cam?
if I do gears I will want to go 12bolt which means I wont get the cam until next year or so, no money [&o]. I know the intake is beneficial, just wondering if i will overcam without the ls6 intake, if i do those mods first it will be awhile before i put a cam in there.
I plan to do those mods at some point, just trying to figure out my order, whats going to get me the fastest, and get me there the cheapest right now, and ill build the support later.
the way I see it, the intake, cam, and rear end all add performance, the rear with gears will allow me to launch harder and cut the 60' time down without worrying abou breaking stuff, the intake will add some power, and compliment the cam well, but Im hoping that the cam alone (especially since its an exhaust sided cam) will be better alone, than the rear or intake would be alone. but I dont want to end up with a car that cant get up out of the hole and cant breath fast enough
so what im asking is will this be too much cam for the stock 3.42 gears and the ls1 intake? If so im ordering a 12bolt with 4.10's this winter
