Well they are trying to buff up the price by telling you the running gear is from the same year Corvette... um... yea we have the same engine as a corvette and well the tranny is not the same, the rear diff is not the same... Hmmm. The car is not an SS it is just a Z28. Around here a car like that will go for around $7000-$8000. Leather and the CD changer (if factory) are not that big of a deal.

You also didn't say what year the car is.

That's a little high priced. Near me there is a nice black, one owner 2001 Z28, 78k miles, with leather interior, for $7995. It is an automatic instead of an M6, and no hockey stripe or valuable hypertech chip, but still...
Ooh, just found a better one...a 2002 Z28, M6 trans, 41k miles, $7,500.

As everyone else is saying, it is a little over priced.. and there is no way the "corvette" running gear will bolt right up to that car with some SERIOUS modification.

Corvette engine... no problem, the Camaro engine is the same stuff with a milder cam from 01-02 and in 98-00 they have a different intake. Same basic engine, slightly less HP.

The rest of the Corvette running gear... yea no way. The C5 and above Corvette use a transaxle in the rear that would take some serious engineering to make work in a Camaro.

Again way over priced. Buy one of the Z's that 69 fount then visit Pheonix Graphics and buy some hockey stripes for $200 and save a few grand.
