Angry My 2002 Camaro SS will not pass emissions

I have a 2002 Anniversary edition Camaro SS with less than 2,000 original miles on it. I recently took it out of storage & will soon have to have it emissions tested here in Illinois. We had a problem last year with it not passing & was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?? I have been driving it for the last week & a few of the tests that were not coming up ready are now okay. The only remaining test that I am having problems with it the evaporator. Any suggestions??? Thanks.

Are you talking about the evaporator, which is part of the AC system, or the EVAP which controls the emission of gasoline fumes? The emission test does not care about the evaporator. The computer will test the EVAP when it has time and the conditions are right, usualy within a week of normal driving. You can force the computer to comlete all the rediness teats b y following a particular driving sequence.
