hey, well i got my car about a month ago, and when i first got it i was told it have a modified rear end and flow master exhaust. Yesterday i took it in and got a new exhaust put in it because it was old and was beat up quite a bit. I had them put no mufflers on and new exhaust tips. Well anyways I am 16 and i dont know too much about cars yet, and I was hoping someone could help me with what I should get too make my car faster, cleaner, and just all around looking sweet. I heard people talking about making the camaro a true dual exhaust and i was maybe wanting to do that but not for sure how much it would cost and all i would need to do. Pretty much i am just wanting someone to give me suggestions for upgrades for my camaro.
On another not it is not my first car, my first car was a jeep grand cherokee and i did not really car about cars then. But when i got my camaro now im obssessed with cars and i just want to make my car better. So if you guys could help me it would be deeply appreciated.

 

At the top of the 4th gen section, there's sticky about first mods or something like that. And a true dual exhaust (3 inch)setup is not necessary, it really won't do anything to help a mildly modded car. The stock 2.5 inch is more than enough for up to 400+ HP. It's really only needed for extreme modded car. But they do sound sweet.

 

alright thanks but i am wanting to make it true dual anyways just to make it sound even better. I looked at the thing they you told me to and the only things out of it i am going to eventually do is get headers and a cold air intake. The other things seemed pointless to me.

 

If that's all your doing then dual exhaust is overkill (unless like you said you want the sound). It'll cost a bit more for a custom dual exhaust job so you could always save that little bit and buy something else on the list.

 

well thats not all im wanting to do but i know it would help in the long run and ya i would like the sound.

 

so what's the usual price on a true dual set-up ona 4th gen? I've been googling for a while but I can't find anything.
