Ls1 Oil pressure

Default Ls1 Oil pressure

Ok i run synthetic oil in my camaro and i only have about 20 lbs of oil pressure when im driving down the road when the car is warmed up. when its cold it runs at 40 lbs is this normal or should i have higher oil pressure.

20lbs while driving is pretty low,id get a mechanical gauge hooked up,the factory gauges can and usually are off

is there anything i can do to make the stock gauge accurate case i dont really want to get any more gauges xpt nitrous pressure and air/fuel ratio.

Yea i agree with Ali that is pretty low. id go to a garage and get some for pressure test to see whats up

i dont mean,hook up a small mechanical gauge in your car.Take it to a shop and have them test the pressure with a hand held mechanical gauge,it could just be the oil pressure sending unit,they go bad all the time.
