I'm 55 and currently own a 1972, 1987, and 2002 Z28. I just passed the 1972 Z28 to my son for his 25th B-day.

My 69 Camaro SS was built the year I was born. It was an awesome year for sure.

It gets better. I'm 44, own a 1998 Z28 Convertible, and pay $229 every 6 months. Bought the car used in Y2K for $19.5k and it had about 20k on the clock. I'm engaged and have been told my insurance will go down significantly once I'm actually married. I also own a Pontiac Solstice GXP and I pay about the same for it. Ditto for the Buell 1125R that I just sold this summer.

So...chin up, cats. Things will get better as you hum along through life. That is, unless the Mayans were right about the world ending this month and if that's the case, we're all F#$KED!
