Some numbers for perspective, all on the same Dynojet 240, all are RWHP and RWT
1998 Z-28 M6: stock (with a tune): 297 RWHP/301RWT
Lite mods (mid length headers, CAI, catback, ported throttle body, etc.) 318/320
Heavier mods (true ram air/sealed chamberhood with rain baffles removed), long tube headers, mild cam, LS6 intake manifold, electric dumps, good tune337/340
Same with MTI "S" cam and good re-tune: 347/335
Same with MTI "S" cam and larger injectiors: and "75" shot - 410/400
"100"shot - 430/415
"150" shot - 465/500 (no explanation why the torque jumped so much)
"175 shot - 480/520
Same with 175 and LS6 heads (takeoffs from my vette) - 520/525
(This motor came apart spectacularly halfway through what whould have been a nice mid-11 run at the strip
408 cubic inch cast iron LSx block (30-over Silverado block with 4" stroke), AFR big port heads, 11.65 compression, shaft mounted rockers, my son's "secret cam" he won't tell me about (bigger than a T-Rex though, we tried that first), FAST 90 mm and throttle body, Kocks 1 7/8 headers, electric cutouts, the ram air hood with slightly ported/smoothed channels, underdrive pulley, etc. etc. etc. 500/520 NA
with "200" dry NOS and a lot of fiddling, tuning, fusing with injectors, etc. 725 RWHP and 780 RWT or 750/800 on 103 octane. (and yeah, the drive train is all aftermarket and reinforced).

Stock, with good tune: 357/355
With Blackwing CAI, LT headers, stock exhaust: 380/395
that with GHL exhaust: 382/400
With Magnusen/Eaton M112 supercharger (non-intercooled, third installation in the US) 465/470)
LS-C5R 427 engine (4.125" bore and 4" stroke), Patriot III heads with additional porting and 2.1" intake valves by Justin Engineering but only 10:1 compression, Jesel Pro-series shaft rockers, double beehive springs, customer ground Crower cam (high lift/ramp rate "grandfather profile" cam with longexhaust duration, medium overlap-- made for SC'd application), FAST 90mm with throttle body drill-hole mod, Ford green top injectors, 18V fuel pump, CAI (Honker), Kock's 1-7/8 LT headers, oversize cats, the GHL, underdrive pulley, and probaqbly a lot of small things I forgot: 500 RWHP/525RWT NA.
