Default How do I get the diverter valve out?

I have a 2002 SS camaro. I need to change out the diverter valve. Any suggestions on how to get this piece out? Seems tight where it is located. Thank you for your replies.

diverter valve for the smog pump. Its located on top of the driver side engine way back under the dash. I have the factory shop manuals and it shows a bolt on the back side of the head. I was hoping for an easier way to get this diverter out. I am getting the P0410 code. I have already changed out the check valves.

I assume you are getting airflow at the hose from the pump but no flow at either pipe at the manifolds, right?

Have you checked for engine vacuum to (and from) the small solenoid just in front of the cutoff/diverter valve?

Im getting lots of air at the hose going over the fender when I take the hose apart at the union. Im getting vacuum to the diverter valve. Im not getting much air at all to both check valves.

I still need to change out my diverter valve on my 02 Camaro SS. LS1 engine. I cant figure out how to get it out because of the limited space. Anyone have any tips on how to R&R this piece?

Thank you
