Default Hood scoop question

I am going to buy a 2002 camaro Z28 and i want to clone mine into a 2002 camaro SS. So my question is there alot of work in that ? what would i have to change ? And is there a conversion kit for the hood scoop?

Well to clone it you'll need The air assembly for the ss which is like 175.00 from SLP. Also you'll need SS badges. Like i've told alot of people when it comes to the ss emblems, get a set off of a newer ss like the silverado ss,cobalt ss, monte ss, etc. I think those will look sweet. Performance wise the ss and z28 are the same already. if you want to go into detail you can add the ss spoiler but no one will probably even notice that since it looks almost exactly like the z28 spoiler just more of a curve to it.

for the amount of money and time you put into it....might as well get a new hood.

I borrow this pix form a site...

Since the hood gives no real performance most people just put the hood on and use an aftermarket air lid.
