Default hood scoop

Anyone know what the scoop on this car is called??? i want one for my car but i can never find it anywhere. I think i just might make my own from glass.

I think that what use to be called a snorkle hood scoop if memory serves.

The one's I've always seen of those have been called home made lol.

Do a search for snorkel scoop on Ebay and lots of them will come up. They weren't fiberglass that I know of, just plastic injection molded.
Had one on my '71 back in the 70's when I raced it. I got tired of trying to see around it when driving on the street.

Thanks guys, Love that freaken scoop!!!!


I was thinking of making my own scoop, gettin the glass out and what not. Ill do some research this afternoon and deduce what the right thing to do is.
