help me with my tires i have a question?
Then think twice about drag radials. I run BFG drag radials on both the 'vette (345s) and Camaro (315s)and get only 5-6K miles per set (and I am NOT doing burnouts, etc.). I point: you absolutely cannot drive the car on a wet road with drag radials -- therear will hydroplane on a film of moisture.
By banging a bit on the rear fender liners and grinding down one bolt bracket 3/16 inch you can fit up to 315s in the rear (helps to have wider wheels -- we put the stock ZO6 wheels on the Camaro - 10.5 inch wide in the rear). 315 or 305 treaded tires with a soft compound will do much better in a launch than stock, and you can still use it as a daily driver if you have to.

If you are looking to get ZR1's then make sure they have the 50 mm offset and you won't have to bend or grind anything. I have 17x11 ZR1's with Nitto drag radials and they hook and look good. They actually have amazing grip when its wet
