Right now i have p275/40/r17 nittos all the way around the car which i know i shouldnt.They came like thison the car when i bought it.Im about to get me some new nittos or micky tompson dr for the rear, with TT2 rims.MY question is what kind of tires should i get for the front and what size tires should they be. Should they match the rear same size or what? Any help is appreciated thank you.

 

I would go 275 rear and 245 front.

well go with the same size all around if you want to rotate them, but what i did is 275/40Z/R17 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS's on the front and Nitto 315/30/R17 drags on the back. I have 17 by 9.5 ZR1's in the front and 17 by 11 ZR1's on the rear. I got the goodyears for $201 a piece from tirerack and the nittos for $175 a piece from Jegs. It handles like a beast in the corners and bites hard after the Nittos are warm. I got the nittos b/c they last the longest out of all the drag radials and they are the best in the rain. I have more grip in the rear when its wet now than i did when it was dry with my worn out stock Eagle F1's

 

Why? They came stock with 275/40/17 all the way around. As long as you are not running dr's up front it is no big deal. Nitto dr's are a waist of $$, the BFG's offer WAY better traction and reasonalbe wear, MT's will hook the best but they don't last very long.

Yes but like i said they were already there when i bought the car a few months ago.I just havent had the money or time to change them until now and and i think my back ones are going bawld.

 

Your just wasting tires man. If you want a decently price street tire that will last alil while go with goodyear g3 Im running 295/35/18s on the back of mine and they hook alright for a street tire.

 

These tires i get will also be used for the strip as well as the street so thats why im looking at nittos.
