headers causing auto trans problems?
i was at my local race shop where the prior work was done to my z28 and I was asking them about my tranny not shifting so great, he said a tech with a couple of trans ams noticed the same thing that when you put headers on the ls1 engine the tranny will start acting up, he said it needs to be tuned and the guy who has done this is going to get back to me.
Anyone heard this?

david - by acting up I mean its shifting gears harder than normal and when I give it full throttle rolling at around 45 mph it will rev up and delay about 1/2 second before downshifting.
Muscle 100 - by computer being tuned, what do you mean, like the shift points?
pete - no i am not getting a check engine light, although my egr is crimped in the intake manifold from the headers being put on, is yours this way?

I just heard back from the guy who is going to tune it for me. He had done all the work proir to me owning it. He said its a heat issue or something but the guy who had the car before me kept putting getting it tuned off, then the z28 got repossesed, now I own it
