i have just purchased with a 98 ss camaro with small mods pushing 350hp to the fly wheel and i have an automatic tranny. i have extra wide tired that were from a corvette and i need to buy 2 back tires soon. i was wondering whats a good tire that has good traction and has a reasonable life span.

BF Goorrich G-Force KDs or KDWs are generally a popular choice because they have really good straight line traction.

I'm curious what mods you have?
