Default Good route to go for horsepower?

I'm looking to spend around $2000-2500, trying to spend it as wisely as possible...

This is ROUGHLY what I was considering, numbered by priority:
1. Punisher Pro-street 3200 stall
2. SLP 3.73 gears
3. Comp cam kit (228/232 cam, lifters, pushrods, springs, timing chain, etc.)
4. Walbro LPH 255 pump
5. FAST 36lb injectors

I beleive I should be pretty close to my budget. Is this a good route to go for performance/daily driver? Any vendor recommendations are appreciated as well..

what cam specs are you looking at? With that budget, 9" rear would be first thing I would do. From there, stall and gears will wake up your auto the most. What are the specs of the cam you are looking at? I am a big fan os the TR224r and TR228 for a mild cam capable of 400rwhp+ easy; also the ls6 intake is enough for these cams.

I was considering the Comp 228/232. I think going with a 9" will stretch my budget a little thin. I know the 7.5" isn't the greatest, but I'm not looking to go much over 425hp.

Is it necessary to get the tranny cooler for a 3200 stall?

Why is a 9" rear so needed? Curious, I'm sure the stock end could hold out for a good while, though maybe depending on transmission? I know it could break if you launch real hard, but I would think it would last to 400hp or so easy.

Stock 10 bolts are crap. No one has ever had anything good to say about them, and they will die under stock power levels. Which is why at 40k miles I have already replaced an axle shaft back when the car was stock. But yes, having an auto trans will save the 10 bolt for a bit longer, m6 cars are much more brutal on it. Do you want 425whp or 425 crank? 425hp crank is easy to acheive with a small cam. With an auto, I would go TR228, Torquer V2 or the one you already picked out. If you were a manual, a TR224r could get you that easy.

I'll be satisified with 415+whp. Probably looking to start off with the converter/tranny cooler and wait for the stock rear end to go, then switch to a 12 bolt. 9" will be overkill for my intentions and not looking to sacrifice much power. Any other suggestions for a quality 3200 tc?

You should not need the fuel pump or the injectors yet. I would look at some other converters in the 2800 range from some other companies. I had RPM transmissions spec mine and they did an amazing job. TICK is also good. Figure tuning into that and looks like a good list.

You should first do the easy stuff, i.e. SLP CAI, what Ram Air do you have? Z28s came with none...
