As a camaro owner that's replaced probably more than a dozen of these things. Take the little wimpy bolts that the replacement motor will come with and toss them. Get some that will fill up the holes in the motor. The little ones that it comes with will let the motor move around and wear it out faster. Using the bigger bolts will hold it in place and not let it move around. Look at the guide and be careful when you drill those holes, you can't fix those easy.

you need new supports if it rattles. There's two like felt covered supports on the inside of the window, about 10 bucks each from gm parts direct, and the outside window sweep is a support for the outside. If you have the new kind it should be good. The new style support runs almost the whole length of the window. The old style has two little felt covered blocks attached to the window sweep, those wear out. The new kind is about 50 bucks each from gmpartsdirect. I just repalced all this stuff last month so I know. I windows don't rattle at all now when they're down.

Default Ebay

You can pickup a new window motor off ebay for $21.95 just follow the procedure in the sticky "Replace window Motor" 1-2 hours and call it done.

I really wouldn't suggest that, the one you will get from a parts store, advance, autozone, napa will have a warranty, and will be easier to take back if you need too. I bought one off ebay a while back and it lasted like 3 months, just long enough for their warranty to run out. I would go with proven dealers.

okay, i have some big bolts in there im pretty sure its not my motor. Did you get the new pad for the window the long one? And to put it on would it just be taking the panel off taking the old ones off then putting the new ones on?
