Default Exhaust

I am looking for some new exhaust parts. I would like to get headers and a bigger y pipe. I was looking and found some Pacesetter headers and a y pipe to match for like 450$$$. That price sounds really good when you compare some of the SLP header packages that are like over 1000$$$. What would any of you recommend for someone who is not loaded with cash.

Thanks

to be fair im just going for some of those ebay generics, for like $200 for headers, there stainless steel and wont rust and pretty much just a good as branded ones. Unless your squeezing out every ounce of powere out of the motor a diff of maybe 5hp on header types wont make a difference and it will sound awesome regardless

fitting can be an issue with off the wall brands. maudy, not saying they all are and we would like to know how they work out for u. anyways how they fit seems to have something to do with the price but the bending process and the tuning of the pipes does. if u are doing a addon to a stock motor then lesser quality headers are going to work for u. if u have a system were u are lookin to gain that last 5 hp from the motor then its that little extra that will do it and its worth the 400 or so extra bucks. fitting and accessability to plugs are another issue with the less expensive ones. i agree with carl have them coated if u can afford it.
