You need Ls1 EGR block off plates, I have no idea where you can get them. Here in the USA they are for "off road use only" many of the larger manufacture avoid them. It seem to me that who ever sold the headers would have this also.
For now you can reinstall the EGR valve, you just need to be sure the EGR valve is disconnected and can not open. The EGR valve in normally closed but if it opens without that exhaust pipe connected it will be a major vacuum leak.
