Dash doesn't stay lit when headlights on?

Default Dash doesn't stay lit when headlights on?
Hey everybody. I was looking to buy a 1999 Camaro with the 3.8L V6 engine. The car seems to be working fine but I noticed that when I turned my headlights on, the dash lights turned off. Can anybody help me with this and should I still buy it?

Make it a condition of the sale that the owner fixes that problem first -- people do similar with homes.

Your post is also in the wrong section -- this is section is for Z28/SS Camaros...

Check the dimmer switch position.
