just got a 2000 z28, had a 1998 mustang gt with gears, intake, exhaust, shifter, and first of all there is no comparison to the ls1. WOW. But anyways, when i got it , it has 20inch chrome rims, is my speedometer wrong? , im thinking about getting rid of these rims, i want to trade someone for some other rims, and i believe it has stock exhaust, it is kinda loud, not that loud though, so i was wondering how loud is the stock exhaust on a camaro,(hard question to answer i guess), and what is a good exhaust for the z28??

first of all...your speedometer could be off a little bit...but not too much to worry about.and for my car i have 3 inch catless(loud as hell!) but produced a lot more power for my car

 

stock exhaust is real quiet, when i got my first LS1 my own mom laughed at me cuz it didnt sound like "muscle"

definatly ditch the 20s and get 18s at the biggest IMO

id say get a loudmouth, but thats only cause im bias:-p theres a few exhausts that sound good on the ls1, but i didnt like the sound of a corsa exhaust, but that coulda been the car that it was on, the guys not very smart and didnt do good things for his engine:-( just my .02
