Default CANT BREAK TIRES LOOSE!

i have a 99 ss 6 speed and idk if the car isnt making the amount of power it should be or if my clutch is slippin or what. i have bfgs on the back i know there pretty sticky tires but i cant break them lose unless i dump the clutch is this normal? and the other thing is say i come to an intersection and im gonna turn and i let the clutch out normal and floor it the car wont break loose at all. and if i do dumo the clutch and it does go sideways it straightends right out and wont keep spinnin them.

Go out to your car, pop the hood, and make sure it says 'LS1' on the engine hahaha

Something is wrong with your car, my V6 can roast the tires pretty good, even w/ 10" rears

This might be a dumb question but are you turning you ASR button off. And the bfg's are they thedrag radials if they are they are doing what they are supposed to do. They are getting warm then hooking up if they are the street tires and you can't keep them spinning and the ASR button is off getting it dynoed is probably your best bet.

yea i turn traction control off and no there just bfg street tires. the other thing is its been relativley hot here when ive tried. i live in upstate ny and its been 80-90 here and there and it seems like those are the days ive tried. would the heat keep the tires from breakin loose? also this morning i was gonna run to a gas station down the street and my damn cat slept on my car last night and left muddy footprints on it so i went to wash it off with a hose and my tires were wet and i pulled out of my driveway and punched it and they spun effortlessley through first then i shifted into third as not to **** off everyone on my street but anyways when i came home it didnt even leave any rubber WTF?!

i dont know but my car is the same way but i have an auto but still before i got my new tires it would spin for days. now it just sticks and puts me in the back seat. plus i dont know if my asr switch is working or not. i would like to find a way to check it. and if i turn left or right flooring it it will get side ways and spin till it gets ready to stop.

i think it may be my sticky tires and the heat recently. last night i went to this housing development (u know where all the houses look the same and cost half a million dollars) well theres only like 2 houses in the whole thing cuz there still building them but the streets are finished. well there was one of those culdesaks or whatever there called the little circle where theres like 2 or 3 houses on it and i pulled in there mashed the gas real quick and drifted around the whole thing then went sideways out on the street. so i think my car does work ok lol.
