Default can anyone help??

Ireally dont know to much about cars.. my first car was and still is a 95 stockv6 white camaro.. i love my car but iam wanting a little more for speed and power.. iam not really into racing or anything, but i would not mind having a faster version. i was looking around for some answers but couldn't find them. i was looking at the SS over z28 but iam not sure.. and an LSI is better i found out. i would want to make upgrades and add a couple things to an SS, but i'am not really sure about how to do it. so basically, in the conditions of a stock battle, an SS would be a better investment??

P.S. i looked for an anwser but i couldnt find..

thanks for all your help..

Not really. They are pretty much same performance wise.

stan u guys say this stuff and its so misleading.

they ARE the same performance wise. the SS has a different hood and spoiler. the SS package is 95% visual. It has a few different parts, however the parts really arent any better than the z28 parts.

One of these days someone will realize my name isn't Stan. I've had this name since my '02 STANG GT. May remember me frommustang forums...I don't really think saying what I didwas misleading, but hey this is my second Camaro, so what do I know.

lets do it this way:

your name is basically 02stanGT, but you pretty much own a camaro, the name is such because you owned kind of a mustang before hand. It was made somewhere around 2002.

----or------

the z28 and ss are the same performance wise

one of these statements is misleading because it uses excess reletivistic terms and ballpark-type language. the other is specific and contains no language with misleading connotations.

the problem with what you said is that it leaves people thinking the ss is still better than the z28, even if only marginally. If someone is interested in nothing but speed they would be better off buying a Z and putting the extra money saved into go-fast parts. But hell, if i were to believe that the SS may be a better platform for some reason I will buy that instead.
