I have been searching the forums on and off now for about 3 days. I have been looking for a list or a sticky thread of bolt ons for the LS1 motor. I think it would be a good idea for someone to post this that has more knowledge then I do about this specific motor. It could even stem out to the other motors from previous years.
I would start the list with
Cold air intake
headers
cats
cat back exhaust
Mass air flow
throttle body
plugs and wires?
any help guys would be great.

the ls1 is COP, and the factory wires will support plenty of power, as with injectors.
boltons for ls1 include:
Headers
Y-pipe (either offroad or catted) or True Duals
Catback Exhaust
CAI or Lid
MAF, however most people leave the MAF alone I believe
TB, you can increase to a 90mm or 78mm, but many people just port and polish the stock one.
Intake manifold- many people 01+leave the stock one, and <01 will swap to an ls6 manifold, or you can go with a F.A.S.T manifold.
dont change plugs for power, change plugs to match your setup, ie colder plugs for nitrous ect....
you could do underdrive pullies, but i dont think many people do that.
thats about it for power boltons. pretty standard for any motor actually, exhaust and intake mods are about all of "boltons". after that u need to break into the motor itself.
other common mods include LCA's, LCA relocation brackets (i will personally advocate this one), torque arm, panhard (not as important for drag racing), ring and pinion swap. motor and tranny mounts with tranny mounts being more common. These all go into the suspension and "power handling" catagory.... except for gears.... they are kinda their own catagory.
