Default Any suggestions on upgrades??

I have a 2001 Z28 Camaro and me and my dad have already put a Flow Master exhaust system on it and are now working on getting an engine programmer and a cold air intake. Does anyone have any suggestions as far as to what upgrades I should get, I was thinking about maybe a supercharger or something, but am not sure what I should do next.

These cars are great to upgrade and make them extremely fast. I would do the following: Change the gear ratio to a lower gear around 3:73 or 4:10, I would do under drive pulleys, bigger throttle body but not too large on stock engine, MAF sensor, change the thermastat to a 160 degree which will make the car run more cooler, subframe connectors to help with launching and handling, strut tower brace, lower control arm replacement, better tires in the rear for traction, I also think that headers are very good upgrade for the amount of horsepower gained. As far as a super charger be careful. They are great for the wow factor but take away from the life span of the motor. Camaros have a high compression rate too so be wary you can run 4.5 boost safely but with a 6 you must make modifications to other parts of the car like better ignition system change timing. For the cost of the hp gains from 4.5 to 6 by buying the supercharger you might be better off with a NOS system. I hope this helps and good luck with the building, maybe see some pics attached next time.

Skip the MAF sensor, the stocker is good for over 400 rwhp, you can get a ported (or port your own)TB, it's good for about 10 hp. The ignition system on LS1's is more than capible of running tons of boost/spray. Skip the engine programer, they are not worth the money and many times do not add any HP, wait till you have more mods and get a real dyno tune with either LS1 edit or HP Tuners. My advice is to do a full exhaust system (headers,y pipe, cut out, cat back) ASP underdrive pulley, air lid, gears, converter (if auto) and a nice set of drag radials. This will net you an easy low 12 car, add a cam and your in the 11's

Well, after searching on the internet I found this http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=28040

Would this be worth it, and since I already have a put a Flow Master exhaust system on my Camaro, Im thinking it would be a waste cause around 700 dollars of that is probably just for the exhaust, but please give me your opinions on if i should do this or not, and if not buy the whole thing, what in the pack would be worth buying seperately

I bought my Flowtech long tube headers and Y-pipe for $500 and they are coated. They also have better ground clearance than the SLP. If you tell what you want out of your car performance wise I can give you a better idea of what parts to buy. FWIW, SLP is a bit of a rip off on a lot of their stuff IMO. *EDIT* I just saw the price of that kit OMG!!!! that is a huge rip off. For $3500 I could have you running high 11's without nitrous

SLP Lid/Granitelli Maf/Random Technology cat back//Flowtechs long tubes/TSP 231/237 Cam/ASP Underdrive pulley. That is my combo and it dynoed 393 hp at the wheels untuned, on a mustang dyno.
