Default air temp chip

does any one know what size resistor u can put in line on a ls1 intake air temp sensor. to make it believe it is running at optimal air temp?

What temp are you looking for, and what are you trying to accomplish?

Its right up there with the turbonator......

new craze is to add a resistor to make the computer think its running, not at optimal, but at very cold temps, the idea being that it will dump fuel. more fuel= more power right?

no......

you will run rich and fall on your face. even tho narrowband O2s suck, let them do their job. the resistor trick does not work.

I highly doubt it.u might think it did, but u may find urself smoked by a stock lt1 now [>:]. The REAL air temp is the optimal air temp, because thats what the engine is sniffing. if it thinks its elsewhere it wont perform right.
