Default 0-60 times

i have a 2000 camaro z28 with slp lid, k n n filter , slp loudmouth and 3.73 gears the transmission was also recently rebuilt i finnaly decided to bust out a stop watch and try to measure my 0-60 times with a bit of tire spin im getting times like 5.7 or 6.0 without a launch or anything which is lower then stock times is there something wrong with my car or am i just not pushing it hard enough or should i try launching or something ive raced g 35s , srt 4 neons , 350z ,mustang gts and allways stay with them if not ahead of the line and then leave a massive gap once i hit 3rd so yeh just wondering if this is normal or if my cars starting to fall off or if im just not driving well enough i mean i did feel as if i c ould do a bit better when i do it .... another question if anyone can help right now i have 17 in corvette replica wheelswith 275 45 17 tires they are a bit heavyer then the stock wheel but the stock tire is 245 50 16 or something which would be better for use on the track

Are you using one of those G-Tech things? If so they are junk and not to be trusted, besides who cares what you do 0-60 in, races are a 1/4 mile

nahh not spending 200 for that junk lol i just used a stop watch to get an idea which is probly not a good idea but if u could give me some advice on this it would be greatly appraicted since u know your stuff my car had a hyper tech stick under the hood and i know the prevoius owner had it casue i knew him and in the process of getting my tranmisson rebuilt or something i relized that afterwards my car would hit a limiter at 125 or 126 meaning i would have lost any tuning done since i have a differnt gear ratio then stock for an automatic and the tranmission was rebuilt should i look into purchasing a hand held tuner to tune it or should i take itsomewhere or on the other hand is it fine as is beside the limitor cause theres kits to over ride that for like 100

If all you want to do is raise your speed limiter and compensate for a gear change a hand held is fine. Your not going to be getting anytype of accurite time with a stop watch, your best way to judge if your performance is getting better is to go to the track.
