98 up ls1 problems??

I bought my 1998 SS with 120k on the clock. No problems yet. But the last owner changed the passenger side axle for whatever reason. I had to do alot of maintenance like shocks and fuel filter and a torn trans mount, brakes....so nothing major. All depends how they drove the car.
thats weird...i have to replace my passenger side axle i wonder if those wear more than the drivers side...although i have locked up posi but hmm
