3rd gen swap
I have an 85 camaro with the 2.8 and I really need a swap for it. Everyone in the 3rd gen forums are saying go with a 350 but I really think i want to do an LS1 conversion swap. Does anyone know where I could find the crate engine, or how much it might cost?

I was always going to do an engine build but then figured screw it I want a LS1. GM performance parts now does a crate LS1 with computer and harness. But it is like $6000. But when the LS1 where in wrecking yards they wanted about $5000 for them. I first saw the crate engine in a Scoggin ****ey catalog. I think you can view thiers online or GM performance parts.
