anways man, it will probably be pretty close.. From what i've seen it usually goes like this: he'll probably get you off the line, but you'll probably slowly pass him in 3rd gear...

The mach 1 will out handle and out perform the Ls1 imo.. I know that i have seen a STOCK mach1 beat several ls1's at the drag strip but i dont know this is just from experience i dont know about real facts

Re-read his post....the cars don't drive themselves!A stock Mach1 willNOT be beating LS1's all day long. Now an experienced driver against novice is a different story. And since you don't know the facts here are some:
Mach 1: 4.6L 281 cu in. 305hp 320tq. 3.38 gears 5 speed
(any) LS1: 5.7L346 cu in. 345hp 360tq 3.42 gears 6 speed
There's your bottom line
