Any mods on the cars? If so wha are they? Stock for stock it would come down to the better driver.

You should win you have a bigger engine then him. Stock for stock they have relativly the same amount of power but the camaro has a lot more torque down low which will aid in your favor. I beat one with my slightly modded 94z with an lt1 motor just imagine what the ls1 will do.

My buddy had an 03 mach one stick. I raced him maybe six times or so on the street, with my 02 ss auto. Both carsare stock. Right off the line he would jump ahead, but i always gained and then passed him each time. Fastest we got up to i think was around 90 and then shut down. He's pretty descent at driving stick to.All in all they did seem pretty close though. i think the most i won was about 2 car lengths b4 shutting down.

 

Drivers will determine the outcome. The LS1 having a small HP advantage.

anways man, it will probably be pretty close.. From what i've seen it usually goes like this: he'll probably get you off the line, but you'll probably slowly pass him in 3rd gear...
