V8 to V6 exhaust kit

I was told to put a V8 exhaustkiton my V6, is this possible? If so will there be any difference?

It will work....hangars locations or other minor things may be different but nothing drastic

i have the stock Z28 dual exhaust on my V6. not sure that counts as a V8 exhaust kit though
