With the V6 you're very limited in your selection of headers, to my knowledge only Pacesetter makes headers for you, so you're stuck with their headers, and I believe they are shorties.

nah man I no a place that can make custom long tube headers for a V6. Pace setter headersare mid tube and not shorties.

Well if they can make them, obviously they'll cost more than mid-tubes because more work goes into them. On the other hand, a header with longer tubes will typically get you more torque in the midrange. They won't necessarily get you more power than a mid tube or a shorty because they all flow pretty much the same, but you do have the advantage that you can get a good collector on a long tube that you typically can't on a shorty. If you can get long tubes, go for it man.

Sorry, I really can't help you on that one, I'm not familiar enough with the V6 to give you any sort of idea on that one...

Pacesetter is the only brand that currently makes them...

CIA used to make them, all long tubes must be custom but i dont think it would be worth all the extra custom-charges

Well I no that pace setter is the only one that makes 'em for the V6 camaro. But there is a place in texas that will make longtube headers for $700.

From what I've heard over and over again, with the V6, headers&exhaust will really only change the sound, you're not looking at a lot of power change, it'll bump the numbers up a bit and give you better flow, but no drastic power change -.-
this is what I was told anyways.
I haven't changed mine yet... but if it works out for ya, let me know.
