Default TPI L98 engine swap air mangement system

troyskibert here and I am the newie on this forum. I am doing a 5.7L TPI engine swap into my '87 Landcrusier. The 5.7L TPI came out of an '85 Corvette. I can't believe I am loosing 200 lbs. in this conversion and gaining 100 horse power and around 50 ft. lbs. of torque! We have emissions to pass here in CA and I am wondering if this TPI engine has a seperate air switching valve and diverter valve. I bought a 1985 switching valve with one wire connector and three ports for hoses. I know the top port goes to the air cleaner TB via the hardline. Where do the other two go? they are in the middle side and straight out the bottom...one is for cat and the other? I have also got a diverter valve from a later model TPI which connects directly to the air pump, and exit ports go to the exhaust ports and cat and lastly the diverter port...which diverts through the silencer into the atmosphere. This diverter valve I have has two wire connectors, one top and bottom. Is this diverter valve I have a combo of air switching/diverter valves or do I need this and also the '85 switching valve I just bought or do I just hook up the diverter port to the air cleaner TB instead of through the silencer? I am trying to finishing the ecm wiring and see that there is one wire for "divert" and one for "switching". Is the top connector the "divert" wire and the bottom the "switching" wire. It is really hard to find anyone who knows this older TPI stuff. I posted on the Third Generation TPI fourm website and have not got a reply yet. Can someone out there help me please 'cause I want to get on the road and !!!!!!!!!
