Default Thinking About Going True Duals

Like the title says, I'm thinking about going true duals with my 2002 Z28. This shop in here in Phoenix quoted me $1,250 for the system, including installation. This does not include headers. Here are some photos of what it will look like. Is this a good price? Should I keep looking? I've been to two other shops and they said that can't or won't do it because its impossible. I really like how this system looks. Tell me what you think. Thanks.

if a shop tells you it's impossible, show them these pics and tell them YES, it IS possible. This is pretty similar to how my system works.

yeah that car's an LT1, but I'm pretty sure it shouldn't make much difference.

you're doing LT's first, aren't you?

that's what I thought, just double-checking. wouldn't make much sense to install headers after getting custom exhaust built haha

Would you know if it would cost more if I plan on getting custom true duals with my Pacesetter LT's installed?

Well you have to take into account that you'll need two catalytic converters and two mufflers. That alone will be $300-$400. Then the install and tubing... I'm going to guess about $1000 for the whole shabang lol

depending where you live, cats probably won't be necessary (I don't have any right now), and if you go with a setup similar to what I have and what I posted, you only need one muffler (dual in/dual out).

Just call around and get some estimates, see what you get. Buffalo, I'd recommend installing the LT's, driving it straight to the shop, and getting the exhaust built right away after that.
