sound will be raspier, performance will increase ever so slightly

Cats are just good for clogging.

 

from what i know, straight pipes are illegal. because you can't pass emission test. So be wise in what you do

 

a straight pipe will sound good on a v6 but only if you leave the cat.

 

sounds awesome on a V8 with no cat, almost like open headers, may do it to mine soon
