RE: STOCK EXHAUST SINGLE-UPGRADE TO DUALS
the magnaflow and flowmaster exhaust makes dual tips. but it's still a singl pipe to the muffler. muffler then splits into tips.
should be around 100 to get installed.
also, you dont keep stock muffler. you get a new muffler and all new tubing. it's a direct fit.

RE: STOCK EXHAUST SINGLE-UPGRADE TO DUALS
alot of aftermarket exhausts will still come from the ypipe that ur car has stock. so if u can envision it, ur exhaust starts in 2 places, on both sides of the motor, then comes together right under ur seat. the new exhaust will just split it off again after the end of the ypipe, so you dont realy have dual exhaust, jsut a dual tip muffler. this will still look better, sound better, and will give u a little performance, but true duals are what u are thinking of. they are way more expensive and not worth putting them on a v6 IMO.
the cost shouldnt be much, its only about an hours labor for someone who knows half of what they are doing. $100 bucks is the most I would pay to just have a catback hung. I had my entire ypipe welded for less than that
