LS1 V8 or V6

I would say Borla Is by far one of the best exhaust systems they go for about 600 bucks.
Slp Loudmouth is also a good choice and they are loud.
magnaflow would be the third choice or Kooks
Pacesetter is also a good brand.
after that id go with a cold air intake or slp air box.
then headers
Then PCM tune to support those mods.

I'll give you advice on what I think sounds the best...and is probably the cheapest. Get 2 resonator tips(such as the ones Hooker makes, in the style you prefer) and take the car to your local muffler shop. Have them bend you a new pipe from the cat back(that's the expensive route) or simply have them take out the muffler and bend you a bit of new pipe to position the tips. Since the tips are a resonator tip, they quiet the car a bit, but it has a good volume and tone, and you have freed up the flow by removing the muffler. It's what I did to my LT1, sounds great(especially if you put headers on it...then it sounds plain mean)
