I've heard ok reports on them, some people swear by them, although I've heard that the Pacesetter headers have some issues with fit. I'm a staunch believer in you get what you pay for, but if you're looking for a cheaper way out that's it. If you do, make sure they're at least coated because they aren't a stainless header and you don't want them to rust through.

I would spend the extra money and go with Hooker's they are the best header made, period.

My Kooks are far beyond the quality of Hooker headers...They're the best common header, and they're a lot cheaper than a custom header, but they aren't the "best"

I agree with bothyou and riceeater

I agree that Hookers are the best for older cars but Kooks have it over them for the newer cars

Good point, Kooks really only makes headers for newer cars. In that case I'd go for Stainless Works for Classic cars over Hooker though, my friend has Hooker SC's on his '76 vette, and don't get me wrong, they are pretty nice, but a mass produced header just can't quite compair in quality to a custom one.
