so how good are pacesetter/Hedman headers.. really?
they are dam near cheap and i dont know if i bought them if i would be throwing my money away. lookin to put them on my 98 Z. already have magnaflow catback. anyone else have pacesetters or hedman's?
I've heard ok reports on them, some people swear by them, although I've heard that the Pacesetter headers have some issues with fit. I'm a staunch believer in you get what you pay for, but if you're looking for a cheaper way out that's it. If you do, make sure they're at least coated because they aren't a stainless header and you don't want them to rust through.
My Kooks are far beyond the quality of Hooker headers...They're the best common header, and they're a lot cheaper than a custom header, but they aren't the "best"

I agree that Hookers are the best for older cars but Kooks have it over them for the newer cars
